The main task of the department is to improve the regulatory framework and methodological documentation of the Institute.

The Department develops and improves regulatory legal acts on the provision of medical rehabilitation and rehabilitation treatment (including the sanatorium-resort area), and also makes changes and additions to existing documents within the competence of the Institute, if necessary.

The Department's specialists develop and publish methodological manuals, manuals, periodicals and other printed materials on healthcare, science and education in the field of medicine. They conduct professional expertise of new technologies in the field of medical rehabilitation and spa treatment, and prepare expert opinions.

The Department actively participates in scientific and practical conferences, congresses, symposiums, seminars and other events dedicated to the organization of medical rehabilitation. An important area of activity is the development of training module programs on complex sanatorium treatment for their inclusion in additional professional training programs.

In addition, management determines priority areas of development in order to form a strategic vision and long-term development of the organization.
