The mission of the Children's Department of the OMR (Department of Medical Rehabilitation) No. 3 of the branch of the RSE na PHB "Scientific Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation" of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Burabai" Medical and Wellness Complex is to develop scientific research in the field of balneology and improve the health of children and adolescents through restorative treatment.

The main functions of the unit:
Provision and organization of medical rehabilitation services within the framework of the requirements of the standards in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Promotion of healthy lifestyle formation.

Main areas of activity:
Working with children and parents. Medical rehabilitation of children with bronchopulmonary pathology is an integrated approach that includes physical therapy to improve breathing and chest mobility, physiotherapy, massage, and breathing exercises (especially important for asthma to reduce spasms and facilitate coughing). Psychological support (including work with parents).

The goal is to restore lung function, increase endurance, improve the quality of life and promote the harmonious development of the child.
