The main tasks of the Department of medical rehabilitation No. 1 are the organization of professional medical rehabilitation services of a wide range in accordance with the standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ensuring compliance with orders, orders and instructions of the director of the center, instructions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and higher authorities with information about their implementation, increasing the effectiveness of medical rehabilitation services, improving the quality of services, expanding the range of services, promoting healthy lifestyle and improvement of the material and technical base.

Main functions of the department - conducting medical rehabilitation of patients in the absence of contraindications using modern means in combination with other therapeutic and rehabilitative techniques, including laboratory and instrumental diagnostics, assessment of the clinical condition, morphological parameters, respiratory function, psychoemotional state and communications of the patient, determination of functional reserves of the body, assessment of the risk of complications from underlying and concomitant diseases, monitoring the effectiveness of rehabilitation the process, the introduction of modern achievements in the field of medical rehabilitation with an analysis of their effectiveness, ensuring continuity and interconnection with other medical organizations, conducting consultations with specialized specialists, as well as equipping the department to the extent sufficient to provide assistance in medical rehabilitation of respiratory organs.
