The Occupational Health and Safety Engineer (OHSE) organizes and coordinates all work to ensure occupational safety and health in the organization, monitors compliance with legislation, carries out the prevention of injuries and occupational diseases, organizes the study of working conditions, measurements of harmful factors, certification of workplaces and equipment. He participates in the development of internal safety regulations and standards, accident investigations, informing employees about working conditions and compensation, and conducting inspections of the technical condition of buildings, equipment, and protective equipment. It also provides training and briefings for staff, safety promotion, documentation and reporting storage, complaint handling, participation in collective bargaining and project approval. Additionally, he is responsible for fire safety: he maintains the serviceability of alarms and primary fire extinguishing equipment, controls the storage of combustible materials, the use of electrical equipment, conducts structural tests and ensures the installation of fire cabinets in the buildings of Branches and the Institute.
