The XI International Scientific and Practical Forum "Shipazhay-2026" to Be Held in Almaty

On August 7, 2026, the XI International Scientific and Practical Forum "Shipazhay-2026" will take place in Almaty at the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Forum is one of the largest international events dedicated to balneology, health resort medicine, and medical rehabilitation.
Traditionally, the Forum serves as a leading international platform for discussing current trends, scientific achievements, and future prospects in the development of balneology, medical rehabilitation, and the health resort industry.
The Forum is organized by the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, jointly with the National Spa Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan, S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, and the Health Resort Development Association "Sankur-Evolution" (Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation), with the support of the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Forum Program
International Scientific and Practical Conference: "Modern Technologies and Innovative Approaches in Balneology and Rehabilitation Medicine";
Seminar: "Digital Healthcare Solutions for Public Health Promotion and the Development of the Health Resort Industry";
Master Class: "Traditional and Complementary Methods in Modern Health Resort Rehabilitation: Scientific Approaches and Practical Experience" (12 academic hours);
International Specialized Exhibition featuring health resort organizations, manufacturers of medical equipment, pharmaceutical products, digital healthcare solutions, and innovative medical technologies.
The Forum will bring together representatives of government authorities, the scientific community, healthcare organizations, the health resort industry, and leading international experts from Kazakhstan, China, Singapore, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, European countries, and the United States.
Following the Forum, a special issue of the scientific and practical journal "Issues of Balneology of the Republic of Kazakhstan" is planned for publication. In addition, the establishment of a Health Resort Council is planned to unite representatives of government authorities, academia, and practical healthcare in developing proposals for the further advancement of Kazakhstan's health resort sector.
We invite representatives of the scientific community, healthcare institutions, health resort organizations, specialized medical institutions, and businesses to join "Shipazhay-2026" and become part of the international professional dialogue on the development of balneology and medical rehabilitation.
