A regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during which priority issues of the development of scientific and international activities of the Institute were considered.
One of the main issues on the agenda was the discussion of prospects for international cooperation. The members of the Scientific Council considered the possibilities of expanding cooperation with leading foreign scientific and medical centers, and implementing research projects within the framework of international grants.
Special attention was paid to reviewing the results of the Institute's research activities. During the meeting, scientific papers prepared by the scientific staff of the Institute were discussed and recommended for publication, such as the monograph "Medical prevention and rehabilitation in occupational diseases of the bronchopulmonary system of dust etiology", the manual "Spa therapy and medical rehabilitation in Kazakhstan", as well as the medical atlas "Natural spa therapeutic resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
The presented publications summarize the results of many years of scientific research, reflect modern approaches to prevention, medical rehabilitation and spa treatment, and also contain practical recommendations for their implementation in the healthcare system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Following the meeting, the Academic Council adopted a number of decisions aimed at further developing the scientific potential of the Institute, expanding international cooperation, increasing publication activity and introducing research results into practical healthcare. The implementation of these decisions will help strengthen the Institute's position as a leading scientific center in the field of balneology and medical rehabilitation, as well as improve the system of medical rehabilitation and sanatorium treatment in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
