The Scientific Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the National Resort Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and the Association for the Development of resorts "Sankur-evolution" ( Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation), with the support of the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has the honor to invite you to participate in the XI International Scientific and Practical Forum Shipazhai-2026, which will be held on August 7-8, 2026 in Almaty at 28 Shevchenko Street (NAS RK Conference hall).
Within the framework of the Forum, it is planned to hold:
• Conferences "Modern technologies and innovative approaches in the field of balneology and rehabilitation treatment";
• Seminar "Medical digital solutions in the health care of the population and the development of the sanatorium industry";
• Master class "Traditional and complementary methods in modern sanatorium rehabilitation: scientific approaches and practical experience" (12 academic hours).
• International Specialized Exhibition of sanatorium-resort organizations, Manufacturers of Medical equipment, Pharmaceutical Companies, Digital Solutions and Innovative Technologies in Healthcare.
The Forum is one of the key international events in the field of sanatorium treatment and medical rehabilitation, where the main focus is on the sustainable development of the sanatorium industry, improving the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs, introducing scientific and digital solutions into practical healthcare, as well as expanding cross-industry and international cooperation.
The opening ceremony of the Forum is expected to be attended by representatives of central government agencies, Akimat of Almaty, heads of sanatorium-resort organizations, international scientific and medical organizations, leading domestic and foreign experts from Europe and Asia, including China, Singapore, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Scientists, specialists and experts in the field of balneology, medical and social rehabilitation, public health, as well as representatives of sanatorium-resort organizations and specialized medical institutions are invited to participate.
Registration of participants and acceptance of scientific articles are carried out until July 1, 2026 through the official website of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan or by e-mail: press.niikurortology@gmail.com
Following the results of the Forum, it is planned to publish a special issue of the scientific and practical journal "Issues of Balneology of the Republic of Kazakhstan". All materials will be checked in the Anti-Plagiarism system in accordance with the established requirements for scientific publications.
Also, following the results of the Forum, it is planned to form a Resort Council from among representatives of government agencies, scientific organizations and heads of sanatorium-resort institutions to consolidate the expert community and develop proposals for the further development of the sanatorium industry.
