Invitation to the Shipazhay-2026 Forum

The Scientific Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the National Resort Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, and the Association for the Development of Resorts “Sankur-Evolution” (Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation), have the honor to invite you to participate in the XI International Scientific and Practical Forum “Shipazhay – 2026”, which will be held on August 7–8, 2026, in Almaty, at the address: 28 Shevchenko Street (Conference Hall of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
Within the framework of the Forum, the following events are planned:
• Conference “Modern Technologies and Innovative Approaches in Balneology and Rehabilitation Medicine”;
• Seminar “Medical and Digital Solutions in Public Health and the Development of the Sanatorium-Resort Industry”;
• Master class “Traditional and Complementary Methods in Modern Sanatorium-Resort Rehabilitation: Scientific Approaches and Practical Experience” (12 academic hours).
The Forum is one of the key international events in the field of sanatorium-resort treatment and medical rehabilitation, focusing on the sustainable development of the resort industry, improving the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs, introducing scientific and digital solutions into practical healthcare, as well as expanding intersectoral and international cooperation.
The ceremonial opening of the Forum is expected to be attended by representatives of central government bodies, the Akimat of Almaty city, heads of sanatorium-resort organizations, international scientific and medical organizations, leading domestic and foreign experts from countries of Europe and Asia, including China, Singapore, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Scientists, specialists, and experts in balneology, medical and social rehabilitation, public health, as well as representatives of sanatorium-resort organizations and профильные medical institutions are invited to participate.
Registration of participants and submission of scientific papers is open until July 1, 2026, via the official website of the Scientific Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan or by email: press.niikurortology@gmail.com.
Based on the results of the Forum, a special issue of the scientific and practical journal “Issues of Balneology of the Republic of Kazakhstan” is planned for publication. All materials will be checked using the “Antiplagiat” system in accordance with established requirements for scientific publications.
