An integrated approach to the prevention and rehabilitation of occupational diseases: results of the working meeting

On January 6, 2026, a working meeting was held between representatives of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Center for Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Diseases within the framework of the scientific project "An integrated approach to medical prevention and rehabilitation of occupational diseases of the bronchopulmonary system of dust etiology".
During the meeting, the key stages of the project implementation, issues of interdepartmental cooperation, as well as priority areas of scientific research in the field of occupational health and diseases were discussed. Following the discussion, the parties worked out concrete practical steps and agreed on a joint work plan for the current year.
The joint implementation of the project is an important contribution to the development of the occupational health and medical rehabilitation system, as well as contributes to the introduction of modern scientifically based approaches to protecting the health of the working population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
