Zarina Shulgau, a Member of the Temporary Research Team of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has been named among the 50 Best Scientists of the Country for 2025.
The results of the annual “Best Researcher” Award – 2025 have been announced. Following a competitive selection process, 50 scientists representing research institutes, higher education institutions, and scientific divisions of various organizations across Kazakhstan were recognized as laureates.
The award was established in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 1, 2024, No. 103-VIII ZRK “On Science and Technology Policy” and is one of the key systemic measures of state support for scientists implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Its purpose is to encourage specialists who have made a significant contribution to the development of science and technology, as well as to stimulate research activities.
In 2025, a total of 358 applications were submitted across seven fields, including natural sciences, engineering and technology, medicine and healthcare, social and humanitarian sciences, agricultural and veterinary sciences, as well as military sciences and national security.
Based on the results of the work of the Republican Competitive Commission, the “Best Researcher” Award – 2025 was granted to 50 scientists whose research and scientific achievements made a significant contribution to the development of national science.
The Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan congratulates the award recipients and wishes them further scientific achievements, productive work, and new discoveries for the benefit of national science and the prosperity of the country.
