Research Associate at the Scientific Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Bolashak Program Scholar

Karlygash Absattarova, Chief Research Associate of the Scientific Research Department at the Scientific Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, submitted an application to participate in the “Bolashak” Program under the scientific internship track “500 Scientists.”

As part of the preparation for the competitive selection process, she received an official invitation from King’s College London (United Kingdom) to undertake a one-year research internship.

The subsequent stage involved a rigorous and responsible selection process, including testing, interviews, verification of proficiency in English and Kazakh, as well as expert evaluation of professional and scientific qualifications.

All stages of the competitive selection were successfully completed.

By the decision of the Bolashak Program Selection Committee, Karlygash Absattarova was awarded a scholarship to undertake a 12-month research internship at King’s College London from June 15, 2026, to August 15, 2027, under the direction “Latest Research in Medicine and Public Healthcare.”

This achievement reflects the systematic work of the Scientific Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan in continuously enhancing the qualifications of scientific personnel and developing research potential for the benefit of national science and healthcare.
