International scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Medical Service of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On November 10-11, 2025, Astana hosted an International scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Medical Service of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the World Health Organization (WHO), leading specialists from medical institutions and scientific organizations of the country.

Director of the Institute Sayagul Kairgeldina made a presentation on the topic "The role of sanatorium-resort institutions in the health protection system of the population of Kazakhstan" on behalf of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In her speech, she noted the importance of sanatorium-resort treatment as one of the key elements of preventive medicine, emphasizing the contribution of domestic health resorts to improving public health and developing medical rehabilitation in the country.

Following the conference, Sayagul Kairgeldina was awarded letters of appreciation and a jubilee medal in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Okzhetpes sanatorium, which recognized her professional achievements and contribution to the development of balneology in Kazakhstan.

The international conference has become a platform for the exchange of experience, discussion of topical issues and development of new approaches to improving the system of medical rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort business.
