Representatives of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation participated in a conference on health technology assessment

On April 24, 2025, a delegation from the Central Office of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by Director Sayagul Kairgeldina, took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Improving Health Policy Based on Health Technology Assessment."

The event was attended by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akmaral Alnazarova, Head of the WHO Country Office Skender Syla, Vice Minister of Health Yerzhan Nurlybayev, as well as international experts from Turkey, Greece, Spain, the United Kingdom, and other countries.

The conference focused on the future development of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in Kazakhstan, current challenges in pharmaceutical provision, the integration of digital solutions and AI in medicine, and the localization of medical technology production.

Participation in such events contributes to expanding the partnerships of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in support of the development of the sanatorium-resort sector and the strengthening of the healthcare system.
