The event, chaired by Professor of Medicine and President of the Kazakh Academy of Nutrition, Almaz Sharman, brought together experts in healthcare, biomedicine, dietetics, and digital technologies.
The conference addressed pressing issues in the development of future medicine and nutrition science, including the integration of biomedical technologies into healthcare systems, the application of artificial intelligence in disease diagnosis and prevention, standardization of school nutrition, and strengthening international cooperation in the field of nutritional science.
Particular attention was drawn to the presentation of the innovative project “Nutrj Steppe” — a mobile application developed as a personal assistant on nutrition and healthy living. The tool aims to make evidence-based dietary recommendations accessible to a wide audience and to become part of preventive health programs.
Natalya Modina’s participation in the forum highlights the commitment of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan to integrating cutting-edge scientific advances into the practice of sanatorium-resort treatment and medical prevention.
