A series of celebratory events dedicated to the Day of Science Workers took place at the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty.

The celebration brought together leading researchers, representatives of scientific organizations, and young scientists from across the country. The event focused on the achievements of Kazakhstani science, support for youth initiatives, and the development of international scientific cooperation. Promising innovations were presented, and the contributions of prominent Kazakh scientists were recognized.

Among the participants was the delegation from the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Despite its young age, the institute has already secured a strong position in the scientific community and established itself as a modern research platform in the field of rehabilitation medicine and spa therapy.

Currently, the institute is implementing two scientific projects funded by state grants. One project focuses on the medical prevention and rehabilitation of occupational diseases of the bronchopulmonary system caused by dust exposure. The other is aimed at using artificial intelligence technologies for the early diagnosis of laryngeal scar stenosis in children. In addition, the institute's research team has developed methodological recommendations for the rehabilitation of patients with post-COVID syndrome and respiratory diseases, published its first scientific monograph, and released articles in internationally indexed journals.

A comprehensive scientific structure has been established within the institute. This includes a Scientific and Technical Council, a Local Ethics Committee, and a pool of scientific advisors. Work is underway to launch a Training Center and create a Digital Library, which will not only enhance the quality of professional training but also provide access to cutting-edge scientific knowledge.

In addition to ongoing scientific projects, key focus areas include collaboration with the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of an Atlas of the country's natural therapeutic resources, as well as joint efforts with the Kazakh Academy of Nutrition to develop a Standard for daily nutritional requirements for year-round and pediatric sanatoriums. Following the visit to Almaty, the possibility of the institute joining the Expert Council of the "Life and Health Sciences" department of the National Academy of Sciences is being considered.

Participation in the Day of Science provided the institute with a valuable opportunity to showcase its scientific potential to the public, strengthen partnerships, and outline future development paths aimed at improving the nation's health.
