Tyumen Region Science Days Held in Astana on February 19, 2025

The dialogue platform brought together more than a hundred industry experts, including representatives of higher education institutions, executive authorities, and the business and scientific communities.

During the panel sessions, participants presented the industrial, scientific, and investment potential of the Tyumen Region, the world-class Interuniversity Campus, and the Western Siberian Scientific and Educational Center program.

Special attention was given to the prospects for cooperation with Kazakhstani partners. Participants discussed opportunities for joint scientific projects aimed at developing innovative solutions and exchanging advanced expertise.

Baurzhan Madina, Head of the Scientific Research Department at the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, highlighted the importance of expanding scientific collaborations to improve the effectiveness of medical rehabilitation and public health preservation.

During the event, she reached an agreement with Galina Evtina, Head of the Strategic Development Directorate of Tyumen State Medical University under the Ministry of Health of Russia, on the implementation of joint projects in balneology, with a special focus on the study and application of thermal waters.
