A Russian journal has published a study by Kazakhstani scientists on the development of the sanatorium industry in Kazakhstan

The latest issue of the journal "Bulletin of Restorative Medicine", which is included in the list of publications indexed in the international Scopus database and in

the list of journals of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation, published an article by Kazakhstani scientists on key stages and events in the history of balneology in Kazakhstan, on the topic "Important milestones and events in the history of Kazakh balneology."

The study was carried out by a team of specialists from the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consisting of Sayagul Kairgeldina, Director of the Institute, Kanat Tekebayev, Deputy Director for Organizational and Methodological Work, Madina Baurzhan, head of the Scientific Research Department, and Karlygash Absattarova, project manager.

The article examines the development of the sanatorium industry in Kazakhstan from a historical and modern point of view. Scientists emphasize that balneology, as a traditional form of wellness, relies on the country's unique natural resources: mineral waters, therapeutic mud and clean mountain air.

Historical stages: from the pre-socialist period to the era of independence.

Modern challenges: the need to modernize infrastructure, ensure the availability of services and digitalization.

Development paths: introduction of modern technologies, optimization of management and strengthening of state regulation.

The authors conclude that natural resources and investments in balneology make it possible to preserve national traditions and ensure the further growth of the industry, which will make a significant contribution to the health of the population.
