Natalya Modina, Head of the Department of Testing and Expertise of Natural Resources, Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in a meeting of the working group of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in the direction of «Harmonization of uniform sanitary-epidemiological and hygienic requirements. »

Representatives of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Belarus took part in the meeting. The participants discussed key aspects of the unification of sanitary, epidemiological and hygienic standards aimed at ensuring a high level of sanitary safety.

During the meeting, Natalya Modina presented scientifically based approaches to the assessment and rational use of natural factors for health purposes. Particular attention was paid to the importance of standardizing procedures and safety control in the resort industry, which contributes to the development of the system of sanatorium and resort treatment in the Eurasian space.

The activities of the working group are aimed at developing uniform requirements to ensure harmonious interaction of the EAEU member states in the field of sanitary and hygienic supervision and protection of public health.

The Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to participate in international and domestic scientific projects aimed at improving the quality of life and health of the population.
