As part of the Russian Healthcare Week, the scientific team of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by Director Sayagul Kairgeldina, took part in the VI All-Russian Congress with international participation «Sanatorium and resort industry. Science. Results», which took place in Moscow.

The Congress has become a platform for the exchange of best practices and scientific achievements in the field of spa treatment and medical rehabilitation.

The event presented current research on the areas of integration of the sanatorium and resort industry in the healthcare system, scientific substantiation and development of new methods of healing and rehabilitation, as well as the effectiveness of the use of natural factors in restorative medicine.

At the official opening ceremony, the director of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayagul Kairgeldina, emphasized the importance of interaction between science and practice to improve the quality of services in the sanatorium and resort industry, and also noted the role of international cooperation: «Today’s forum is a unique platform for discussing key issues in the development of the health resort industry, the introduction of advanced technologies and the exchange of experience in the field of medical rehabilitation and wellness. I am confident that the work of the congress will contribute to the development of effective solutions and the creation of new prospects for the development of our countries. »

Participation in the congress allowed us to establish new contacts with leading Russian and foreign colleagues, discuss promising areas of cooperation and outline plans for the implementation of joint scientific projects.

The scientific achievements presented at the congress will find practical application in our work and will contribute to the development of balneology and medical rehabilitation in Kazakhstan.
